First Fridays in Middlebury truly came alive—and we couldn’t have asked for more. The weather was on our side (warm enough for no coats!), the streets were full, and the whole town had that easy, happy buzz we all dream about.

Over 35 businesses opened their doors, the pop-ups were buzzing, and everywhere you turned there was something to discover. The BOBOLINKS and the MISCHORDS were hopping around town bringing music and joy—flash mobs, surprise moments, and so many smiles. I had the absolute pleasure of introducing the MISCHORDS to some of our local businesses, and we had a blast “bombing around” together.

We ended the evening on the steps of the Town Hall Theater, with people gathered outside, glasses of wine in hand, completely charmed and entertained. It was one of those moments where you think—yes, this is it. This is what spring and summer in Middlebury is going to feel like.

We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, stayed open, performed, supported, and believed in this. It felt exactly how we imagined it—and maybe even better.

There are still some key businesses who haven’t yet been able to open their doors with us, and we completely understand how busy things are—but we would love to see even more of you join us as we head into the summer months. The vision is growing, and together we can make Middlebury known as the town that opens its doors late on a First Friday.

Roll on May 1st… and watch this space 👀

With thanks and a big smile,

K&K 💛
