The Better Middlebury Partnership’s Very Merry Middlebury kicks off on Saturday, December 1st!

9:30am: Watch Santa arrive by fire truck (up Main Street Two loops) at 9:30am

10:00am-Noon: Old fashioned visits with Santa at the Middlebury Inn (come early to get a ticket with a time to return so you don’t have to wait in line!)

9:00am-2:00pm: Hot Cocoa Hut in Cannon Park; just 25 cents for a cup of cocoa with all the fixings!

9:00am-4:00pm: Open House at dil Yoga Sanctuary (Washington st.) crafts for sale, baked goods, raffles & specials

10:00am-4:00pm: Holiday Open House at Henry Sheldon Museum, view the electric trains, miniature Christmas tree raffle and holiday exhibits. Donations welcomed.

10:00am-Noon: Horse and Wagon rides, board in front of the Community House. Free.

10:00am-Noon: Make your own graham cracker gingerbread house at the library in the community meeting room downstairs. Free. All materials provided.

10:00am-Noon: Santa’s Milk and Cookies Station at Kiss the Cook; free.

10:00am-5:00pm: Gingerbread House Exhibit and Contest at the Vermont Folklife Center. Admission by donations at the door.

10:00am-4:00pm: Annual Holiday Pottery Sale at the Middlebury Studio School (route 7)

10:00am-2:00pm: Free gift wrap for any items purchased locally, just show your receipt. Community Barn Ventures (44 Main St.)

10:30am-11:15am: Caroling at the Congregational Church steps

12:30pm and 3:00pm: Holiday classics at the Marquis Theater Cafe space; free. “Muppet Christmas Carol” at 12:30pm and “Home Alone” at 3:00pm
