About the Buns
The base of all of Caroline Corrente's buns is a yeasted brioche dough. The buns are soft and light and filled with a range of unique combinations. All of the chocolate buns are made with King Arthur Flour's black cocoa powder, which adds an intense chocolately flavor. My ingredients are all sourced locally whenever possible. Including but not limited to: King Arthur Flour, Monument Farms, Cabot Cheese, Stonecutter Spirtis, and Green Pasture Meats. Most of the herbs vegetables and fruits come from my own gardens and the eggs from my hens.

Juice Amour is owned and operated by Sheri Bedard and her father, David Bedard. It was the love and strong belief in the many health benefits of drinking fresh juice that started Juice Amour on its path to your backyard. We wake up early to produce local, raw, organic juice and products on site every day. Our juice cleanses are extremely popular and are a great way to introduce people to juicing. Everyday we wake up passionate in our belief that healthful food should be accessible, taste delicious, look beautiful, help you feel amazing and have as little negative impact on the environment as possible.

Matt and Aless met in 2011 in Bethel, Connecticut at Matt’s second coffee shop job. Aless came in for open mic night, noticed the cute barista behind the bar, asked for his number, and… they have been inseparable ever since. Pretty early on, the two began mentioning the idea of opening a coffee shop one day. In 2018, Matt and Aless decided to seriously start looking for locations for the shop. Middlebury was the obvious choice. This will be their 2nd location, after opening Royal Oak Coffee.

One of the reasons you come to Vermont is to enjoy the benefits of locally sourced fresh food from dedicated small farmers, artisan cheese makers and specialty meat suppliers. Our Chef prides himself on the creative use of these ingredients as he prepares delicious dishes that are both satisfying and memorable.
For Morgan’s Tavern, we acquire the freshest ingredients from Vermont producers and purveyors through the Vermont Fresh Network Partnership every day. Our philosophy is that fresh is always best. All of our food is cooked with the guest’s satisfaction in mind, to create a truly memorable and satisfying dining experience.
Be sure to stop in and enjoy our Afternoon Tea to try your favorite tea blend. Whether you are dining in Morgan’s Tavern, grabbing a beer and burger at the bar or attending a wedding reception, we believe you will want to come back for years to come to enjoy all the best that the Inn offers.
At Morgan’s Tavern, we are also aware of our environment. We compost all food waste and recycle all empty boxes and containers. We analyze how far food is traveling before arriving at our door to help cut down on carbon emissions. Any quality foods available to us that are local will always be preferred over foods that are trucked to Vermont from afar. Seasonally we are even able to travel to the Middlebury Farmer’s Market to source some of the freshest ingredients possible.

Rosie’s has been serving up home style meals to the Middlebury community for over thirty years and its site has been creating memories for many years before that. Rosie’s location on Rt. 7 south was home to Palmer’s Dairy Bar in the 1950’s before it became Rosie’s Restaurant in 1978. Some may still remember the original slogan that hung from its sign, 'Good Food, Plenty of it, and it don’t take all day to get it.'
