The bakery has been in operation since 1986 when Ben & Sarah Wood first opened as Otter Creek Café & Bakery in The Frog Hollow Mill Building just down the street. Now, 35+ years later their tradition continues and has become a signature downtown business at 14 College Street in Middlebury.
The Woods’ mantra was “we don’t go to work, but go to PLAY!” This same spirit still shows in the staff and product and you can join the fun via the bakery’s open atmosphere. The team’s hearts are in the kitchen and in the smiles that we deliver.
