There are days that remind you exactly what community feels like — and Green Up Day in Middlebury was one of them.
From early morning set-up to the last car being loaded around 1.30pm, it was a full-on team effort, powered by generosity, energy, and that unmistakable Middlebury spirit.
Maggie and Anthony rolled in with the Little Seed Cart, keeping everyone fueled and smiling ☕
Ted from WVTK brought the radio, the music, and the good vibes — as always 🎶
Our incredible BMP Board showed up both Friday and Saturday — steady, committed, and all in 🙌
And the Lynn family… just wow. Ida, (of the famed Ida’s Totally Tasty Treats) accompanied by the extremely efficient and effective Elwood and Naomi, along with Mia and Henry, brought a lemonade stand with rice crispie treats, brownies, popcorn cookies, smiles, and a whole lot of heart 🍋 💚 With a huge thank you particularly to Christy our chairperson, who worked tirelessly into the next day ensuring that the very last stick of furniture found a new home…mass appreciation.
It’s these moments — the leaning in, the pitching up, the small acts that add up to something big — that make this place what it is.
So much gratitude. So many good feelings.
And so many reasons to love this town.
Thank you, Middlebury. 💚
