Last night, Middlebury was transformed by the warm glow of luminaries and lanterns for Stories from the Heart at St Stephen’s as a parade made its way from St. Stephen’s down to the Sheldon Museum. After the storytelling event, the participants walked down to the beautifully decorated ancestral alter on the porch of the Sheldon to listen to the very talented Matthew Von Behrens on the harp. Every shop and store along the route was lined with luminaries, lighting the path with a soft, inviting glow. Luella from Hospice and her team created a truly magical atmosphere, filling the town with beauty and a sense of togetherness that held everyone in a shared, heartwarming experience.
