We’re back at it on Friday, March 6 — and if February was small and sweet, March is shaping up to be lively, layered… with a few surprises.

First Fridays are about starting as we mean to go on: a town that is open, welcoming, and ready to gather — even (especially!) in the heart of winter. Shops stay open late. Lights stay on. Tables fill up. Galleries buzz. Neighbors bump into neighbors. You get the idea.

Here’s who’s in so far:

  • Flora – Open late with a beverage deal: any THC-infused drink & pre-roll for just $5.

  • The Middlebury Shop – Open late!

  • Adagio Chocolates – Open late!

  • Haymaker Bun Company – Late Night karaoke dinner pop-up! First come, first served. Handmade pastas, apps, specialty cocktails (boozy & not), and a professional karaoke setup.

  • Shiretown Inn – Cajun-themed pop-up dinner. Book early!

  • Retro Realm – Open until 10pm.

  • Parlour – Open late!

  • The Herbal Collective – Open late on Route 7 South.

  • Vermont’s Own Gifts & Goods – Open late (promotion TBC).

  • Middleton – Open late and hosting a bead night with James Johnson Jewelry.

  • The PhotoPlace Gallery – Open late with CUT. PASTE. TRANSFORM. Meet the juror and several exhibiting artists.

  • Golden Rule Mead – Popping up at PhotoPlace for the evening.

  • Cobweb Antiques – Open late (promotion TBC).

And we’re not done yet… this list continues to grow as more local businesses join the fun.

So mark your diary for March 6. Come festive. Connect. Sip, sample, taste, browse, sing, bead, linger.

Middlebury is open — and we have a feeling you might encounter a surprise or two along the way.
