A VERY MERRY MIDDLEBURY 2025!

🎄✨ a Very Merry Middlebury Kicks Off in Dec!

Now that Spooktacular is done and dusted for the year ( it was AMAZING to see what we estimate to be around 750 children on Sunday!)…we’re now turning our sights (and our sparkle!) toward a Very Merry Middlebury — one of our favorite seasons downtown. The lights, the laughter, the carols, the cocoa — it’s all just around the corner, and we can’t wait to share in the holiday magic with you. From Small Business Weekend ( November 29th and 30th) to the Tree Lighting, Midd Night Strolls, Santa visits, carriage rides, and all the cozy moments in between, we’re looking forward to celebrating community, joy, and togetherness throughout the season. Here’s to a truly merry Middlebury!

🛍 Midd Stroll Late-night shopping on Dec. 4 & 11 makes it easy (and fun!) to find gifts while supporting local shops. 5-8pm.

🎄 Tree lighting at Triangle park by the fountain on the 4th December around 6pm!

🎅 Santa and Mrs Claus and their entourage of helpful elves arrive on Saturday, Dec. 6 to greet families and spread cheer. 9.30am-11.30am at the Town Hall Theater

🌟 Look out for our Exeperience Middlebury HOLIDAY RAFFLE chocolate bar~$2,500 worth of local prizes! A fundraiser for the Better Middlebury Partnership. The bars will be available at selected stores and businesses, including Sweet Cecily, Toad Hall Flowers, Vermont’s Own, IPJ real estate and the Co Op.

🐴 Macey’s Carriage Rides on the 6th of December 10-12pm ✨The cozy Hot Cocoa Hut; Dates: Thursday 4th December during Midd Stroll, Saturday 6th December,  Thursday 11th December during Midd Stroll, Saturday 13th December and Saturday 20thDecember. With thanks to all the volunteers who help make this happen!

🌟Music Together® and Rhythm Kids® FREE Demo Classes at Middlebury Community Music Center on 12/6 at 9:30am and 10:30am

✨Lighting the falls for December and January to add extra sparkle and light to the season! The tradition of SD Ireland’s LIT Cement Truck at Cannon park during Midd Stroll on the 4th and 11th of December, and Vermont’s Agency of transport’s Rudolph the Snow Plow will visit on the 11th!  To add to the sparkling festivities during Midd Strolls 🎄 Carollers throughout town 4th and 11th of December will be bringing winter and holiday cheer 🌟 Wreaths, twinkling lights, and holiday magic around every corner bring the community together. Plan to bundle up, invite your visitors, bring your family and friends, and let’s celebrate the season — a Very Merry Middlebury 2025 has everything that makes our town shine.
