There’s a lot happening in Middlebury between now and the beginning of November! Look out for the Community Ancestor Alter at the Sheldon museum, which will be on the porch of the museum from Weds the 23rd of October from the late afternoon. Starting on October 25th, there’s a workshop on death journaling at the Marquee Theatre, followed by a screening of Blackbird and a discussion at Middlebury Regional EMS in the evening. On October 26th, families can enjoy Craft Day at Middlebury Studio School from 10 AM to 12 PM, while later that day, Stories from the Heart will take place at St. Stephen’s Church in Middlebury. A luminary path walk towards the Sheldon museum will follow. October 27th in the morning brings the Ghostly Gallop to East Middlebury, alongside the Spooktacular event from 2 PM to 5 PM. On October 30th, the Town Hall Theatre will be showing the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Halloween night, October 31st, features a Halloween Spectacular with a haunted forest walk and candy at the Weybury Inn in East Middlebury, plus a performance by Mal Maiz at Town Hall Theatre. Between now and October 31st there will be a spooky scavenger hunt running between Middlebury and East Middlebury, where participants can keep an eye out for the local ghoul, the little ghost.
