In conjunction with the BMP Board, Middlebury Underground, and the Addison Independent, we’ve got a date for your diary — and it’s a good one.
The idea began in a very honest way: our Route 7 lock-up garage is officially overflowing. Years of props, equipment, signage, curiosities, and well-loved paraphernalia that once helped bring events to life… and are now ready for a second act. So we asked ourselves: what better moment for a clear-out than Vermont Green Up Day 2026?  On Green Up Day, we’ll take over the Lot outside The Addison Independent at Marble Works with a good-old-fashioned flea market — complete with music, snacks, and plenty of town spirit. We’ll be clearing the decks, re-circulating useful (and delightfully odd) treasures, and turning clutter into community good.
✨ All proceeds will go directly to the Better Middlebury Partnership, helping us continue to bring creativity, novelty, and connection to downtown Middlebury in the months and years ahead.
