Just opened in downtown Middlebury, Cobweb Antiques is the lifelong dream of collector Gary DeVoe. With his wife Jill, they have turned a passion for discovery into a charming new shop filled with history and character. Visitors can browse a fascinating mix of vintage wares — from license plates, porcelain signs, memorabilia, and militaria to movie posters, pre-automobile street signs, vintage advertising, and rare autographs by figures like Henry Ford, Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison, and even the Beatles. With more than a fifteen hundred items in the carefully curated collection, the DeVoe’s promise “something for everybody.” Their goal is simple: to create a beautiful, low-stress, mom and pop-run space where locals and visitors alike can explore, reminisce, and have fun.
