What a day! Middlebury, you did yourself proud! We had to do an extra run to SHAWS, our AMAZING candy SPONSOR, for more loot @ around 3pm! Crowds-upon-waves-upon-groups-upon-PEOPLE! Thank you to everyone who showed up and created the fun! Shaws, Hannafords, IPJ, Danforth, Ted Richards from 92.1 who kept us entertained with the spookiest of tunes all afternoon; St Stephens and The Congregational Youth Group; Sweet Cecily, Toad Hall, The Vermont Book Shop, 51 on Main and The Giving Fridge, Sabai Sabai, Marquis Theater, Tinker and Smithy, Green Mountain Adventures, The Middlebury Shop; plus our very special Middlebury banks, Key Bank and National Bank of Middlebury, and Marble Trail. Appreciation to Little Seed for their COFFEE to keep our energy levels up, and to our WONDERFUL volunteers who always show up rain or shine!! Thank you all! The Friends of the Ilsley Library, Home Health & Hospice, plus Harry Potter, our Guardian Wyatt, Dennis, Maria and family and their scary spider truck, everyone PLUS their dogs & kids, Middlebury students and Posse, Pet Dinosaurs, Unicorns, Goths, Vikings, Elves, Steam Punks, Witches and their Cats, Flower Power, the WIZARD @ the Marquis, our very own FIRE DEPT–gratitude for their keen involvement, photo opportunities, and to the Police for their safety measures.
