As we start to plan beyond the current season, we look forward to a time where Middlebury truly lights up! Merry Middlebury is the result of months of thinking, planning, and coordinating with so many wonderful people — volunteers, local businesses, the Town Office and Public Works team, and all our wonderful community partners, who work together to make our town sparkle.
We look forward to this season every year: the laughter during the Midd Strolls, the glow of the Christmas tree, the Falls ablaze with color and cheer, Santa and Mrs Claus taking time out of their very busy schedules to visit our beautiful Middlebury, carriage rides, the hot cocoa hut, and all the little touches that make Middlebury magical. It’s more than decorations and events — it’s about celebrating our community and the joy we share.
We can’t wait to see familiar faces and welcome new friends. Come experience the magic with us!
🎄✨ Merry Middlebury Kicks Off in Dec!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year in downtown Middlebury! Merry Middlebury begins on Thursday, December 4th with the Christmas tree lighting and the first Midd Stroll.
🎅 Santa and Mrs Claus and their entourage of helpful elves arrive on Saturday, Dec. 6 to greet families and spread cheer.
🌟 Look out for our Exeperience Middlebury HOLIDAY RAFFLE chocolate bar~$2,500 worth of local prizes! A fundraiser for the Better Middlebury Partnership.
🛍 Midd Stroll Late-night shopping on Dec. 4 & 11 makes it easy (and fun!) to find gifts while supporting local shops.
🎄 Tree lighting at Triangle park by the fountain on the 4th December around 6pm!
🐴 Macey’s Carriage Rides on the 6th of December 10-12pm
✨The cozy Hot Cocoa Hut; with thanks to all the volunteers who help make this happen!
✨Lighting the falls for December and January to add extra sparkle and light to the season!
