Middlebury has officially elected a new Dog Mayor — congratulations to Otto! After a spirited community campaign that helped support the wonderful work of Homeward Bound, Otto will be sworn into office at an inauguration ceremony on Thursday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. at the Middlebury Town Offices. A big thank you to outgoing Dog Mayor Tela, who set a remarkably high bar for canine public service. We can’t wait to see what Mayor Otto’s term brings—more tail wags, community spirit, and perhaps a few important nap-related policy initiatives. All are welcome tomorrow– come along and help celebrate Middlebury’s newest four-legged leader! 🐶🎉
