A community call from the Better Middlebury Partnership & Experience Middlebury
There’s magic in the air next week in Middlebury — a little nip of fall, a swirl of leaves, and the promise of Halloween fun ahead. And what better way to celebrate than by coming together to spookify our beloved Triangle Park gazebo?
Next Friday, October 24th, from 1:30–3:00 PM, Kelly and Kathryn from the Better Middlebury Partnership invite you to a community decorating gathering filled with creativity, laughter, and maybe even a friendly ghost or two.
We’re on a mission to transform the gazebo into something spookily spectacular, and we need your help! If you have old Halloween decorations, pumpkins, cornstalks, hay bales, spiders, cobwebs, ghosts, ghouls, or witches hiding in your garage or attic — bring them along to share. Every bat, broom, and bundle of straw helps!
It’s a day off from school, so bring your little ones (and your not-so-little ones) to join in the fun. We’ll be decorating in anticipation of Middlebury’s Spooktacular celebration on Sunday, October 26th (11 AM–1 PM) — complete with a mini parade, treats, and plenty of Halloween cheer.
This is about more than pumpkins and cobwebs — it’s about community. Every ribbon tied, every pumpkin placed, and every smile shared adds to the warmth and connection that make Middlebury so special.
So grab a coffee, grab the kids, grab your spooky stash, and come join us at the gazebo on Triangle Park.
Together, we’ll make Middlebury boo-tiful! 🕸️🕷️
